I live in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan with my teenage son and our dog. I was a young single mother, but now that my son is a teenager, I guess I'm just a not-so-young single mother now. I have worked with the federal government for the past 9 years in a chemistry lab, but I won't ever blog about my job, it's really boring. While I was working I went to university to get my B.Sc. Had I not gone to university I would have never met the grad student whose insult to me gave me the inspiration to call my blog "A Little Less Volume". After I was finished school I started writing this blog and I have figured a little bit about myself along the way: I am a reader, a thinker, and a lover of ideas and experiences.
Here are a few things that I love:
I love hanging out with friends. I love good conversation, especially when paired with good coffee or good food. I love learning and thinking. I love to make people happy. I love cooking and baking for others. I love being outside. I love to travel. I love seeing people smile and laugh. I love my family.
