Once upon a time there were three dogs.
A large dog, a medium dog, and a small dog.
The large dog had a a tail so long he held it up like a curlicue.
The small dog had nothin but a nubbin.
The medium dog, however, flaunted his finely feathered tail like a peacock.
And they happily sniffed each other at the dog park.
